My dog suffers from excessive licking of the paws, leading to irritation and inflammation. Which would be better to use, Skin Soother or Paw Soother?
If your pup is experiencing general discomfort or irritation, start with Paw Soother. It's powerful enough to tackle just about any issue affecting the paws - allergies, cysts, infection, etc. If the issue is more severe and has been ongoing without improvement from other treatments, give Skin Soother a try.

Will Paw Soother balm help with traction?
When paws are dry, they lose traction and can cause dogs to slip and slide on surfaces. When paws are healthy and moisturized with the balm, the skin is flexible and somewhat spongy, allowing for better grip, contact, and protection against injury from splitting and cracking.

Does NDC Paw Soother leave any grease marks on floors or furniture?
Due to our balms consisting of mostly natural butters and essential oils, it is possible that it may transfer to absorbent surfaces. To avoid this, apply lightly, be sure to massage into the skin, and allow a moment to dry before your pup's access to carpeted areas, furniture, or other absorbent materials. You might also consider laying down an old towel, using a t-shirt or socks to cover the area to which the balm was applied.

Should there be any transfer of balm to your carpet, furniture, or fabrics, there's really no need to worry! A solution of Dawn dish soap (the regular blue version is the best) and a little water will take the balm right out!

My dog will not stop licking their paws.
For the majority of paw issues, NDC suggests their Paw Soother. Not only is this balm perfect for moisturizing and healing dry, cracked pads, but it's also great for relieving irritation, reducing inflammation, and eliminating cysts between the digits. If your pup's paws are soothed, they shouldn't feel the need to lick them as much! NDC can do the soothing for them.
