FAQ
Can I use Skin Soother on my pups nose?
Skin Soother has a higher concentration of essential oils, which can sometimes irritate areas with sensitive skin tissue, like your pup's nose. That's not to say that it won't work, but we suggest caution and use only a very small amount at first. This will allow you to ensure your pup's skin will be accepting of the balm. For dry nose issues, our Snout Soother is the best remedy!

Which balm would be best for treating allergies?
Skin Soother would help to treat the worst areas topically with its anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. For treating the allergies from the inside out, we would recommend NDC Skin and Coat supplements as well as their Salmon Oil!

Is there aloe in your Skin Soother?
Our Skin Soother does not include any aloe in the formula. For a full breakdown of the ingredients, check out the Ingredients above.

Do your products work on fleas?
Skin Soother does treat and heal flea bites, and the lavender is a natural repellent also!

Can skin soother help with warts?
Dog warts are caused by viruses & are typically contagious to other dogs. They should resolve on their own after a couple months - Skin Soother will only help to keep it moisturized, not get rid of it faster.

Can Skin Soother be used on cats?
Many customers have used NDC balms with success on all different types of animals, including cats!  However, due to a higher concentration of essential oils (which cats can have a sensitivity to), NDC discourages the use of Skin Soother. Alternatively, Wrinkle Balm, which is their mildest formula, would be a better option for your cat.

What is the difference between Paw Soother and Skin Soother?
Paw Soother is targeted more so for healing dry, cracked, and damaged paw pads. Skin Soother is NDC's strongest formula, and can be used to treat a wide variety of skin issues. If your pup is experiencing general discomfort or irritation, start with Skin Soother. It’s powerful enough to tackle just about any issue!

Can Skin Soother be used on the ears?
For sensitive areas such as the ears, NDC recommends their Wrinkle Balm. While the balm can be used on the underside of the ears, it should not be applied down in the ear canal.

Would you recommend the Skin Soother or Snout Soother for my dogs dry nose?
Skin Soother has a higher concentration of essential oils, which can sometimes irritate areas with sensitive skin tissue, like your pup's nose. That's not to say that it won't work, but NDC suggests caution and use only a very small amount at first. This will allow you to ensure your pup's skin will be accepting of the balm. For dry nose issues, NDC's Snout Soother is the best remedy!
